There will be five categories covering all age groups(Age is applicable on the day of the qualifying competition)
Class 1 12 Years and Under Dressage – Approved Riding Schools Dressage Test 2 includes walk trot & canter Show jumping course – Maximum 45cm stable management quiz
Class 2 13–17 Years Old Dressage – Approved Riding Schools Dressage Test 2 includes walk trot & canter Show jumping course – Maximum 60cm Practical stable management quiz
Class 3 18 Years and Over Dressage – Approved Riding Schools Dressage Test 2 includes walk trot & canter Show jumping course – Maximum 70cm Practical stable management quiz
Class 4 17 Years and Under Dressage only – Approved Riding Schools Dressage Test 1 includes walk, trot & canter
Class 5 18 Years and Over Dressage only – Approved Riding Schools Dressage Test 1 includes walk, trot & canter.
Eligibility Clients of BHS Approved Centres
The competition is only open to riders who are genuine non horse/pony owners.
Having a horse/pony on lease/loan excludes competitors from this competition
Any competitor who has competed in any affiliated competition is not eligible to enter the competition.

Entries Entry fee is £10.00 per class Entry forms are available from your instructor they should be completed and handed in with the entry fee Due to limited availability only one class entry per person will initially be permitted Riders should be of sufficient standard to compete in all stages of the relevant class please consult your instructor before entering. Entries will close 7 days before the competition or when full if sooner. Competitor times will available on the website www.cottagefarmstables.com on Friday 15th Feb. Dress Code There is no formal dress code. Preferred dress will, however, be sweatshirt and/or shirt and tie. The requirements for riding hats will continue to be as in normal day to day riding Gloves should be worn, long hair should be in a hair net and no jewellery should be worn except a wedding ring and watch The Championships The National Riding Schools Championships is run by The British Horse Society and sponsored by Champion. The Final will be held at Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex Willoughby, Rigby, CV23 8AJ College on Wednesday 24th April 2019(this is the during the EASTER HOLIDAYS )
